2. Material to prepare

  • Material to write.
  • 3 A3 shits of paper or a whiteboard.
  • 3 coloured pen (for example: red, green, blue).
  • If you have a PhD notebook, you can write in it. If you have none, this course is a good opportunity to start one: bring a paper notebook (Size: A4 or A5). You can find information about the PhD notebook here.

Additionnally you’ll need:

  • A good internet connexion
  • A microphone
  • A webcam
  • A room where you can work without disturbing or being disturbed
  • Something to drink.
  • Perhaps something to eat during the break: writing makes hungry!

3. Schedule

The workshop lasts 3 days:

  •  Wednesday 29th,
  • Thursday 30th &
  • Friday 31st October 2025.

We will work from 9.00-13.00.

We will take a 15 minutes break in the mid morning.

Please be punctual – we start at 9.00!

4. About the course

This workshop ist project-based. During the workshop, you will write on your own thesis project. You don’t only learn what to do – you do it!

There is nothing to prepare – just watch the video below.

Watch the video about Internal & extenal languages before course. It contains the only theoretical element of the course. The video lasts about 9 minutes.
