If you don’t know how to start…
If structuring your thoughts is challenging...
If you rewrite the same sentence ten times and still feel unhappy with it…
If you copy-paste pieces of texts dans get mad trying to structure them...
Don't worry: this is normal.
Writing a scientific paper is challenging - even more in a foreign language.
Nevertheless, writing a paper is a matter of structure.

Hello, I am Martha Boeglin.
When I started writing my PhD thesis in Philosophy, I found myself completely paralysed for months by the fear of the blank page.
When I realised that this phenomenon is something almost every doctoral researcher experiences at the writing stage, I became deeply interested in the writing process itself.
I then made three major discoveries:
Writer’s block is normal.
There are many writing techniques that help you move past it.
The better you plan and structure your writing beforehand, the more fluent it becomes – and the opposite is also true: the less you prepare your writing, the more it will be full of obstacles and blocks.
And one more thing: fluent writing makes thinking more powerful.
This is how my passion for creative writing techniques was born.
With two important consequences: once I had dissolved my own blocks, I was able to write my thesis in three months, without experiencing writer’s block again.
Then, once I had obtained my doctorate, I created the Scriptoria writing workshops in 2002.
Their purpose: to make it easier to write a PhD thesis and the publications you need in order to obtain your doctorate.
Since 2002, I have led hundreds of writing workshops and trained around 700 PhD candidates every year in scientific writing – that is, more than 10,000 doctoral researchers over 22 years.
Over the past two years, I have developed a new concept that allows you to build a high-quality article more efficiently and without unnecessary pain.
